Brothers and sisters, truck drivers! Allow me to give you a seed of knowledge that will sprout and give you freedom from scale companies and a decent reward for professional load control.

In fact, it is quite simple for a driver to determine axle weights using PSI gauges. However, after digitization, the load-control industry may turn out to be dozens of times more valuable, thanks to the opportunities for saving resources and developing backhaul transportation.

By education, I am a teacher of exact sciences, and I spent many years behind the wheel of an American truck. Like you, I have seen many difficulties, problems, and risks in this outdated industry. No one has ever taught drivers how to earn a decent reward for professional load control.

Drivers lack quality information about the weight of the truck, the trailer, and the cargo, because the vast majority of American trailers still do not have the appropriate equipment. This means that millions of drivers cannot reliably control safe load distribution. Every year, thousands of accidents happen, and, to our great regret, sometimes people even die.

Carriers all over the world need to know the weight parameters of the cargo in the trailer, while a weighing usually shows only the load on the axles. This is absolutely not enough in the modern digital world. Scales use an old mathematical model, created even before smartphones and onboard computers appeared. However, many trucks already have PSI gauges to control overloading of the air suspension. And for the trailer suspension, every driver can use an inexpensive digital tire gauge with high resolution.

Why do we have to build everything from scratch? Because we are not given access to the API of scale companies, and we are starting to independently create our own efficient drivers' load-control system, to help save people's lives and protect the ecology of the planet. A new generation of trucks with onboard computers is on the way, and our modern mathematical model will suit them better.

The trucking industry needs new effective solutions, and one of them is the digitization of load control. That is why we created a new mathematical model and two inexpensive smartphone apps, Mouse Scale Light and Mouse Scale Pro. For the winter, it is better to master the very simple Light version to control load distribution, and over time master the more complex Pro version to develop logistics. The Pro version provides much more useful information, because it takes into account all seven important variable parameters of the truck and the dry van. As a result, twenty-five useful weight parameters are at your service.

To reduce the risks of winter accidents and emissions of harmful gases, we have set an affordable price for both apps, one dollar per month, making the technology accessible to every driver. Mouse Scale also gives everyone a free trial period, so that you can test the technology and make sure of its capabilities.

This is not a marketing trap to first lure drivers with a low price and then raise it. We have a different plan. We strive for every truck and trailer to get quality load-control equipment, and for drivers and carriers to be able to reduce the risks of accidents, develop backhaul transportation, and reduce empty miles.

Mouse Scale has sent an appeal to the U.S. Department of Transportation and the U.S. Department of Labor, with a proposal to consider the issue of a decent additional payment to drivers for professional load control, to maintain the optimal balance between the axles.

Previously, there were no clear rules for rewarding drivers for professional load control. Instead, there was an unwritten principle in the industry: whoever determines the weight takes the carriers' money. Drivers were left with nothing. All the hard work, risks, and responsibility remained on their shoulders, and they did this work for free. This is unfair, and it is time to put an end to it. We propose to regulate by law the reward of drivers for professional load control, so that this work is paid fairly and equally for everyone.

Right now, all we need from you is a little attention and common sense. Please watch our training videos, and let this seed of knowledge sprout in your mind.

If the idea of digitization resonates with you, share it with your fellow truck drivers. The advice of a true friend is better than any advertisement.
