Information You Provide Directly
- Vehicle Identification: Truck and trailer number or other identifiers.
- Weight & Pressure Data: Axle weights, suspension pressure readings, and maximum pressure specifications.
- Calibration Settings: Any custom calibration parameters you enter for load distribution scenarios.
- Subscription Details: If you choose to subscribe to premium features, we collect your purchase information (e.g., receipt tokens) via RevenueCat; we do not collect or store your payment card details directly.
Automatically Collected Data
Device & Usage Data: We may collect technical information such as app version, operating system version, crash logs, and usage metrics to help us diagnose errors and improve the App. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.
How We Use Your Information
- Core Functionality: To calculate and recommend optimal load distributions, axle weight guidance, and calibration advice based on the data you provide.
- Subscription Management: To enable, verify, and manage premium features via RevenueCat.
- App Improvement & Support: To analyze crash reports and usage patterns, helping us fix bugs and enhance user experience.
- Communications: To respond to your support inquiries and, if you opt in, to send you important updates about the App.
Data Storage & Retention
- On-Device Storage: All vehicle measurements, calibration settings, and scenario data are stored locally on your device by default.
- Server Storage: Subscription records and any aggregated analytics data are stored on secure servers maintained by our service providers (e.g., RevenueCat).
- Retention Period: We retain your subscription and analytics data only as long as necessary to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see "Your Rights" below).
Data Sharing & Disclosure
We will not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We only share information in the following limited circumstances:
Service Providers
- RevenueCat: Manages subscription billing and renewal. They receive only purchase-related tokens and status data, not your payment card details.
- Crash/Analytics Services: If you opt in to share crash reports or usage analytics, we share aggregated, non-identifying data with providers such as Google Firebase or similar.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Mouse Scale, our users, or others.
